TO4S dyno results

Well, here is my last dyno run. 1.4bar. It was 105deg ambient temp, my injectors were maxed out, and the TO4S could not hold any more boost even if I had more fuel. As it was it peaked at about 1.5bar at 5000rpm and steadily dropped from there.
I have some other print outs but I can't seem to get them small enough to post here.

ok lets try this. These are 3 runs. .9bar, 1.04 bar and 1.4. The dyno's computer crashed after my last run so the image of my best run came out all screwed up.

Pretty good, espcially on a scorching 106 degree F day!

machinehead,
I'm confused... there's one picture that has 3 dynos on it that say 15, 15, and 16 PSI, but the numbers are something like 359, 409, 434. If the first two are both 15 PSI, how'd you pick up about 50 more RWHP? Were those testing/tuning runs? Furthermore, the text you typed says, "These are 3 runs. .9bar, 1.04 bar and 1.4" but the dyno pic shows 15,15,16.

Then, in the chart you uploaded, the text says "Well, here is my last dyno run. 1.4bar" - yet you only made 423 rwhp? that's 20.5 PSI... something must be a typo

This is NOT a flame, just trying to clear this up so that I can add your runs to my dyno comparison webpage.

Regards,
Brian (also T04S)

Yeah, the guy just typed in whatever after each run. I have no control over that. The 434 is the spike at the end of the run. The actual peak HP for that run as you can see fron the readout was 423HP.
I can post the last run by itself but you will see what I mean. The mid section of the graph is completely missing due the the computer crashing after the last run. Believe me I was pissed off, but what could I do at that point? Really I was after the numbers for myself, not to post on the forum, I just thought some of you might like to see them.
The runs were, 1st run @.9bar, 2nd @ 1.04, and the 3rd @ 1.4bar.
It was after hours, it was still over 100 deg outside and we were all tired. I was happy with the results and they guy didn't charge me full pop, so we left it at that. I think you will find that these numbers are not unrealistic by any means.

Added your 0.9 and 1.04 to my dyno thingy page... it compares pretty well with my 14 PSI runs on my T04S.

For some reason, all my graphs on MY car have a dip at 4500-5200 rpm

I've see that on other T04S graphs as well sometimes... but yours doesn't have it... any ideas to beef up power there?

or to see mine vs yours:

Actually I added some fuel in that region because I could see it was runnning lean and that seemed to help. What are you using for a boost controller? If you are running off the wastegate spring that could be the reason right there. What rpm do you reach 14psi?

Hmmm I'm using a 10 pound spring, with a Greddy Profec B controller... I'm not sure about the RPM... I'll have to look next time I drive.

I went to Morgan Motorsports in Reseda. The guy let me come down after work, 6:30PM, which was very cool, and was very accomodating while I was there. His name is Harry. 818 342 5693 ext6
