t5rkai is capable of making over all more power than a hks t04r.

the T51 will provide more power hands down, it also spools up relatively fast for it's size, my mechanic has a T78 and he says it spools just as fast.

There are two HKS specific T51R turbo's. The T51R Kai is similar to a Turbonetics T70 in size, and might spool near as fast as the T78. The T51R SPL is a LARGE turbo. It is similar in size to a Turbonetics T76 turbo, and should probably not be used for anything to be driven on the street.

BTW, why go with a full bridge?

the motor was originally a Pineapple(which i don't recommend) after having serious issues the motor was finally pulled to find poor crafstmanship. so now the RX7 Store is re-doing the work and extending the original Pineapple ports some more. as for power, i haven't really had it on the dyno other than to tune, the butt dyno says 450ish@16psi.

mine only lasted about 6k miles, but most of that was due to the build, i would say under decent boost 25k miles would be the limit, probably less.

I'll second the vote for BDC. I've had a chance to ride in a 10th AE that he did a half bridge on and it was running a GT40 turbine. GREAT CAR!! Had power from much earlier on than a full bridge but still had the power high up there like a full bridge would. Plus he is a great guy to work with. Just my .02

You really need to do your homework and research.
I think you're getting in over your head.
You can't expect just to buy some turbo...slap it on...and get instantaneous 500hp at the wheels.
You're going to need one big intercooler, and a whole new fuel system to support that kinda numbers...right there is around $2,000!

Is this going into your converted NA?
Does your FC have a full Turbo II drivetrain?
How much are you allocating to this 500hp monster?

i know most of the basics i will start with fd full brigdeport, bar and plate fmic, t51kai, 2-720cc injectors,4- 1600cc injectors, twin pumps, haltech e6x. if you look at sig i have 90 gtu with s4 t2 drivetrain, hk$ springs, tokico adj. struts. this car was (sickboy)s beater it had over 400hp before i got it minus haltech e6k, fmic, apexi gt-spec,and long block. i ask questions about stuff i not sure about and search on older members cars and setup, i wish i could chat with soul assassin, think he was running that setup i have done some homework thats why i ask about somethings that i cant find

this is true. i have invested far MORE than $15k in my car and i'm no where near 600hp, not that it couldn't do it...maybe once, there are so many bugs to be worked out and little details...and that all takes time and money.

i would rather build this 7 instead of something new. i know the car will be a money pit my goal is 600hp. i will start with full bridgeport, haltech e6x, hk$ t51r kai bb, thats what i know for sure need help with fuel system, fmic, downpipe, clutch. all i ask is for help with the stuff to make that kind of power and do it right but no one here wants to help. why cant enyone answer the questions i ask instead of telling me how much it cost like i said i know its not cheap

FC313bt88 are you going to drive a 600hp bridgeport across that long *** bridge and thru the tunnel in mobile? I will be so loud you might cave it in. I used to love going full throttle thru that tunnel on the way to bourbon street.
