TO4E Wheel Sizes
I am trying to figure out the difference between. A TO4S, and this TO4E I would like to get my hands on.
To start, Here are the specs that I have on the two turbos:
TO4S (from HKS USA):
COMPRESSOR:
-Wheel- 60 Trim - 59.0 Inducer / 76.2 Major
-Housing- 100 Inlet / 60 Outlet - 0.70 A/R
TURBINE:
-Wheel- 76 Trim - 74.2 Major / 64.7 Exducer
-Housing- T04 inlet / 65.75 outlet - 0.84, 1.00 A/R
TO4E:
Compressor:
4"inlet, 2.5" outlet
Wheel 2.00" (50.8mm) Inducer / 2.95" (74.93mm) Exducer
A/R .70
Turbine:
P-trim A/R 1.00 divided
I am not very good with trim and comaring wheel sizes. So I am having difficluty figuring out what I can expect from this particluarTO4E. This turbo would be on a stock 13b-RE. Would this be a good choice? or is that compressor wheel too small?
Assuming these wheels are too small, is si possible to change the wheels to the specs as a TO4S or R? Would they fit in a TO4E .70 compressor housing?

According to your numbers, that would be a T04E 46-trim wheel. It is quite small for your setup... Hmm, I've never seen anyone run a T04S housing with a T04E wheel though. That's a first for me. I'm sure most turbo shops would be able to machine the compressor housing you have to fit the 60-1 wheel (T04S wheel).
Here is the list of wheels and their measurements: http://64.225.76.178/catalog/comp_wheels.html

Hmm, to not get you confused, "T04S" usually denotes the compressor housing (.70 A/R, 4inch inlet, 2.5inch outlet). When this compressor housing is coupled with the T04B 60-1 wheel, the whole turbo is usually called the T04S. There really is no such thing as a T04S "wheel" (sorry to confuse you from my previous post).
Now to answer your question. Yes, a 60-1 wheel can be made to fit inside a T04E housing through machining the housing.

So this TO4E i am talking about is really a TO4S?
because the compressor housing specs are exactly as you said (.70 A/R, 4inch inlet, 2.5inch outlet)
The auction is over, but this seller will most probably put it back up for sale again.
