Timing split???

i cant figure out the whole timing thing with the split? when i read my timing it right on the marks both trailing and leading now what degres does that mean? and what is the split? and how do i change the split?

IGL is you main timing parameter. Split is the difference of IGT from IGL. I use split to determine IGT.

IGL-------IGT-------SPLIT
******************
4 ***** -6 ***** 10
20 **** 10 ***** 10
20 **** 19 ***** -1


Not a hard concept.
