I was leaning toward the volvo 740 because they seem the simpilest to adapt and are quite large - maybe too large?? Plus they can be had for next to nothing. Suggestions, comments, hearsay, whatever you got, let's hear it.

 

the volvo intercoolers are good units. Some of the volvo guys have been known to run ~2 bar through them.

 

npr too. specially the big npr intercooler,
