For those using the Turbonetics Racegate Wastegate

Guys,

I have a Turbonetics Wastegate on an HKS manifold connected to A turbonetics T04B turbo.

My question is since I cannot find the source of my no boost lag machine problem I was staring at the wastegate and noticed there is a washer on the shaft is approximately in the middle of the shaft.

Is this normal. Or should the washer be at the bottom of the WG.

It's notorious for that sleeve bushing to get loose.
If it does, it usually locks closed and you end up killing your engine.
It sounds like you're luck it dropped out with the WG in the open position?

I have to diagrams of the wastegate from turbonetics. One shows the washer in the middle of the shaft. The other on the bottom. The only way I will find out is pull the dam thing off again I guess!
