I have ther chance to buy a Garrett T04 for my FD, are there different types of TO4s?
Will it run alright on my FD?

Official Garrett is T04B and T04E.
You got funky stuff that is based on the T04 family - T04S04 / TS04, T45, T51, etc.

sorry to resurrect this thread but why are there so much different types of them?...what are the main differences?...i have seen a whole lot...it just seems the list gets longer...

Turbonetics, Garrett, and Mitsubishi/Greddy "T" series turbos are all different and confusing. A turbonetics T61 isn't necessarily bigger than say, an HKS/Garrett T51

guys, I think he is asking if there are more than one type of T04S.

Yes, there are. The turbine housings differ. You can get devided or non devided housings too.
