I just put in a motor that is used so i dont have to worry about breaking it in but for some reason it's not running wuite right. is there somewhere i can go to get all the settings for the fuel and timing before i get a chance to get it tuned.

 

Just use the PFC base map and don't boost. All fuel and timing adjustments can be made using the Commander, albeit painfully. Did you pull the 4-pins/cut the 4 wires?

 

do what? everything was already done in this car when i bought it i just blew the motor so i swapped out the engine. just wasnt sure if i could boost with base settings or not.

 

Well, there was most likely a REASON the previous motor blew, if it were MY money, I'd be very thorough and careful about how the PFC is setup. So NO, I would not be boosting it at all. Reset the PFC to the base map or load a single turbo map from a source you trust and boost as little as possible until it can be tuned.

Give me a call. You don't want to be listening to people on the forum who are not aware of your complete setup. I just check by laptop to see if I had the maps saved. They are not coming up so I guess the last time the car was tuned, my laptop wasn't used.
