TD06-25G with V-mount at 0.8 bar... do I need race plugs?
My car came with #10 race plugs, but I changed to stock plugs while getting the car running.
For a while I was running it with the boost controller turned off, and it would boost to 0.5 bar. The other day, it was boosting straight to 0.8 (what it was actually tuned for). Do I need race plugs for this level of boost?
It should be making about 350 hp.

However, I WOULD NOT, under any circumstances, use el-cheapo non-oem $2-$3 per pair autozone specials like I saw some "guru's" preaching several years back. That just seems like a horrible ******* idea and a poor place to cut corners.
Granted, I haven't bought plugs in several years due to life taking precedence over the FD, but prior to this down-time I'd just keep two sets of plugs (not including what was in the engine) at all times... 1 brand new set of BUR-9EQP's in the tool chest and 1 used (but clean) set in the car for emergency swapping if necessary.
I ran the race plugs prior to that, and swapping back I really didn't notice any real performance loss. At 350whp I highly doubt you'll "need" race plugs, unless you've just got too much money floating around and you need to get rid of some

Probably not. In fact I highly doubt it. I'd just run the plat 9's all around and save yourself a decent chunk of money in the long run. Fouled plugs are fouled plugs, regardless. Yes, you can clean/blast and reuse them, but they're still going to be less effective. I'd rather spend $40 on a set of plugs that will work just as well as the ones where you're spending $40 per plug

Dunno, in that case I'd probably keep them in the box until you were going to actually use them at something like auto-x or a track day (some place where you'll be driving aggressively for the majority of the time) as opposed to just gently cruising around town to get groceries or go see a movie. I don't see any advantage in running race plugs for daily driving type situations, and you'll probably get much better use out of them by reserving them for those days where you'll be driving with a purpose.
