was going on 7 owners?? I don't know much about my car 3rd gen but my twins went out i have about 1,400 to work with here would a t4 on an hks manifold and hks wastegate with a boos controler work on a stock ecu, fuel,intercoler????? or are there any rx7 running this set up and how's does it work out thansk any help is greatly appreciated

 

Well... It would work, but that doesn't mean it would be safe. I'd just rebuild the twins if you only have X amount of dollars. Once you get into building a single... It costs some $$ to do it RIGHT.

1400 is a little shallow for a TO4, manifold (HKS as you stated), boostcontroller and wastegate. Remember also if you piece together a kit, you will have to CUSTOM make a downpipe and a intercooler pipe.

 

damm so i guess im out of luck on this one... was starting to get a lil exited of the idea of having a single, who did youre rebuild, how much did you pay and how did they work out for you????

your best bet would be to do a search in the 3rd gen section for turbo rebuild. I'm sure you can dig up the info there.

 

Well, I had a friend rebuild the motor at his shop. Cost 1800.00. I removed it, stripped it and took him the block. Haven't got it all back together yet... But I guarentee I'll be flooding the forum with pics and video when she starts up!

There are LOTS of places to get rebuilds. Or remans (Though I hear bad things about them)

I think alot of people recommend KD rotary and gothamracing. THere are others... I'm just not that familiar with them...
