Question T04Z Install Completed, need some advice

Hello all,

I need some help about what I just did. I installed a single turbo on my 95 RX7 and im not sure what to except after the install. To the best of my knowlodge, I install evereything correctly. The car starts up without a problem. At idle, I feel that it runs okay, my AFR’s at idle are about 12.9’ish. trying to drive the car is a different story. It is not tuned but as it sits I cant even drive it to the shop to get tuned. From 0 – 5 MPH it buck like a horse. Once it gets going, it smooths out for the most part. AFR’s driving about 30 MPH are about 15 -19. As it sits a don’t feel confortable driving it to the shop because of this feeling that something is not right.

Did u buy the PFC new or used? Is the PFC running on a base map or was it already tuned before?

You could always have it trailered to the shop that will be tunning it...

do you have a datalogit? if so we can send you a map.

i suggest you add 10% fuel just to get you going.

Either dive in head first into tuning it yourself or tow it somewhere. You would need a Datalogit and you would want to join the PFC tuning group (PM cewrx7r1 about it, it includes a notes package) as a minimum.

I imagine you have different injectors now? If so you should change the injector sizes in the PFC, this will make it run much better. The you can drive it with no boost to the shop to have it tuned.
