I'd be interested in who got in on this GB and what their purchase was?? Also if you could share your configuration and your performance expectations would be KOOL also. Here are mine.

Thanx

Well, it looks like some of us are finally getting out T04e/s GB kits. I wonder if now would be a good time to start sharing information and assisting each other.

Racing fuel pump and 1200 cc 2nd injectors for the fuel system. About $ 600 there.

I have the TO4E. I am running 1100 cc secondaries, M2 med IC and a fuel pump. I have another set of secondary injectors and was thinking of going bigger with those.
My engine is a little tired, I am getting a little fuel smell, so I think I will just tear the whole thing down and do it up right. Maybe get a street port while I have the engine out.
I am going to call XS on Monday and see what they can do for PFC maps. If KD is doing yours I wouldn't mine having a peak at them when he is done... if you don't mind.
I would like to see 400hp at the wheels. I think that is reasonable.

KDR received my T04e kit today. Hopes to have my car done in the next two weeks. Maybe I'll get it back by 10-01 after all. Laid up for seven months. Just in time to break in new engine and then store for the winter. Maybe I'll get Some Blizzak LM-22s and drive it in the winter.

T04E

I installed mine over the weekend. It could have been a one day job, but I wasn't in any hurry. I procrastinate a lot. I am actually surprised I did it all in the weekend. Something like this usually takes me like a few months. Blitz FMIC took about a month and a half I think. Now just trying to figure out how to hook up my Blitz DSBC vacuum lines. I have the "out" line going to the wastegate and the "in" line coming from the intake manifold. I think that is wrong since I can't keep the boost under 1 bar???? Install was pretty straight forward. Major power. Love it, but gotta figure out how to control the boost.

Talked to Dave a few minutes ago, looks like my engine is ok. He was really impressed with the XS-Engineering T04e kit. If Dave at KDR says it's good kit then it is. I'm sure the T04s kit are also good.

I was wondering if anyone has their kits installed and what the results you have experienced. Was it worth it???

Hey Ken,

I was at KD last week and dropped my motor off... I saw your car and asked Dave to finally see a To4E kit installed... looks good.. nice shiny turbo... Very clean..

Question...
Since coolant is running through the turbos.. wouldn't that raise overall coolant temps?

I'm debating on the XS kit or just goin custom..

XS or 60-1 turbo.. suggestions or comments??

Are you running a Power FC?

The stock twins have coolant plumbed through them as well. I would think the temps would drop slightly because you only have one bearing now. I am personally of the opinion that the XS turbo is a 60-1 with slightly different housings than you would get from turbonetics ..... but that is only a guess at this point.

Anybody running one of these yet? My motor is in, and the kit is installed.... maybe I will get to fire it up tomorrow!
After installing it, I must admit, XS makes a very nice kit. They seem to have thought of everything. Everything fit together nicely, the instructions were decent, I can't vouch for the performance yet but it seems like they put a lot of work into thier product. I know I was bashing them a while back, but I think I will have to eat a little crow on this one. You have to give credit where it is due, and the bottom line is that they know what they are doing and it shows in thier product.

Out of all those kits sold there has to be somebody already on the road....

Anybody?
