Hi Guys,

How the hell does the T II diff be converted to be used on an FD?????

The pinion on the T II is over two inches longer!!!!

Any pictures would really be appreciated.

I post this in the single section, coz its people with single turboes make the big ## and so its you guys who use the T II diff

You use the FD ring and pinion, just swap the FD ring gear onto the t2 diff.

 

... that is same diff housing and assembly just the internals are of the t2 ... right?

 

You jsut use the LSD from the TII with your FD stuff.

 

oh ok! any year in particular or any t2 will do?

 

Use the s4 clutch type the t2 has 4:10 gears the FD does as well you swap the t2 diff in the FD pumpkin (housing). I recommend a professional doing the job you have to have your backlash in the diff set perfect and make sure you use all new parts.
