Any of the rx7 shops are now selling heat shields that work on most turbos. They're not metal shields but more "blanket" types, flexible, that can withstand extreme temps. I purchased one from Gotham some time back and it's simply awesome. You can run hard, pull over, and put your hand on the heat blanket (and hold it there). Most shields (metal) are nowhere near as efficient in keeping radiated heat away from other engine parts. I used this heat shield on my T78 and it fit just fine.
