Question SX 18201 pump/41002 filter, anyone using these?

I just picked these up for 150.00 I was going to use it as part of my fuel sump set-up. Anyone actually using one? If so what are you doing with it, and what capacities have you observed?
Here is from the SX site "This coast guard approved E.F.I. fuel pump not only provides safety and corrosion protection for the years to come, but also delivers consistent flow up to 90 psi. With the mounting brackets sold separately, the 18201 pump can support fuel injection applications up to 1000 horse power with a single pump and is well suited for normally carbureted and blow through carbureted systems as well.

Since this pump is designed for high power fuel injection applications, carbureted systems are a breeze. It gives you the ability to supply fuel no matter what "g" forces, dirty filters, or how much boost pressure your application may encounter.

This pump helps protect itself in the worse of conditions. The "In-line" or "wet motor" design provides cooling protection as well as tight barrier from all of the harsh elements of racing, for the motor and all of the other internal components.

Each SX Performance fuel pump is acceptance tested, not only for safety and leakage, but also for proper performance and efficiency. The 18201 is flow tested deliver a minimum of 80 gallons per hour at 45 PSI, while operating at 12.0 volts.

The SX Performance 18201 pump is also coast guard approved. This can only be accomplished by an independent lab setting fire under the pump a minimum of 2-1/2 minutes, bringing the total outside surface temperature to over 1300° F. After exposure to this harsh condition, the fuel pump must not leak!

So there is the hype, anyone have real world experience? Thanks, Carl

Common Carl, these pumps have been covered before. Should be good enough for you setup (500hp). Very easy to tell when the pump is not working...it's quiet!

Good lord Carl *I* didn't even get one of those

After my dyno runs and droping fuel pressure on the top end I was thinking of getting one of those but Steve talked me into running dual intank pumps in a completely separate parallel setup.

I think I"m gonna try feeding my 1600 secondaries through the -6AN braided line I'm using now with the RP pump and my 720 primaries with stock TII pump through the stock hardline (to the bay anyway) for now.

(oh, and I'll try to get you those manifold pics as promised.)

Chris, it does have some "carx7 bling" doesn't it. I'll call you tonight, the Reverse cowl hoods are going to start shipping in a week or so. I also picked up a Race Logic Traction Control system for the Supra, call it "keep the car on the road when the wife is driving a 700rwhp car insurance", as a side benefit it has "full throttle shift", and "Launch control" The full throttle shift is very trick, instead of lifting throttle to shift, you simply depress the clutch while maintaining full throttle, and shift, thus not loosing as many revs as ordinarily associated with shifting(the rltc manipulates engine speed by changing injector pulse width during the shift). Launch control is just a two step rev limiter, combined with an active programable traction control. Too complex to get into here, but very trick
