I would check with Davinci Motorsports about that kit, youll save alot of money . Plus i just think that it is totally unethical that they charge so much money for what they say is a KKK turbo, when in actuality they use a Holeset turbo you could pickup for a few hundred bucks. No saying the Holeset is bad, as ErnieT has made great power with it and ran impressive times, but lying about what turbo comes with the kit, is flat out rediculous and bullshit business.

Anything past the Stage 2 isn't meant for the street. Not sure I would even put the Stage 2 into an FC...

But since I track the car, I need quicker spool than that.

The turbos is actually a diesel truck turbo used on the Cummines inline 6 or something like that, you can buy it for $400-$600, pickup a wastegate, have a manifold made (or just use an HKS manifold with spacer) and pick up the oil lines and everything you can make the whole kit for under $2,000 easily.

A bit overpriced for a Holset, for sure.
Not that there is a problem running big diesel turbos on RX-7's!!!

Allrotor, I remember your turbo failed after a couple thousand miles if I'm not mistaken, am I thinking of a different stage 2 customer? Jim, did you abandon yours as well? What wastegate were you using Jim?
I've spoken with Ray several times, he was short with me, and was not interested in spending any time on the technical aspects of his kits, basicly, it was "do you want to buy one, or not" NOT>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Carl

But with the $$$ Ray charges for a rebuild, I'll probably just get a T62-1 or similar when mine goes

good choice. the turbo is bad *** but not when you have to rebuild it at a cost of a new t6x turbo.
