i would normally say that ur fouling the plugs because of a rich a/f ratio,,, but not sure what else it could be

someone told me that, but how do you fix the fouling, change the injector maps, adjust the A/F ratio, replace something

well you would have to see what a/f ratio ur running, this is normally done on the dyno with a wideband. from there u will be able to see what a/f ur running. but sometimes ur car may have to run a rich a/f ratio as not to cause damage to the enigne or even ping. what did the end of the plugs look like when u removed them?
if u did want to lean it out a little then its best to have maps altered whilst on the dyno with the wideband.

Center electrodes gets eaten?
Discolored?

I don't know what kind of power you're making or plugs you're running.....but I'd wrather change the plugs every couple months vs. have to lean of a A/F ratio. CJ

post pics. what plugs are you running? stock igniton?

my MSD 6 box eats up EGV plugs rather quickly but judging by your responses your running stock style NGK's with a stock igniton. If so I'd say it was to be a super rich a/f ratio.

Who tuned your car after the single was installed?

Are you running NGK BUR's?

If the centers are degrading too fast, you can either upgrade to Iridiums (same heat range) or run colder plugs.

Iridiums: BR9EIX and BR10EIX

They're a snowmobile application, but Advanced or AutoZone can get them in a day. Less than $6 a piece, but they require a thin walled socket that you must either buy (~$20) or machine yourself.

1RE01-27#4
1RE01-31#4
1RE01-32#4
1RE01-34#4

http://fc3spro.com/TECH/MODS/IGN/plugs.htm

Also listed is equivalent heat ranges versus the NGK's.
