Hondahater, I plan to run 17 psi on pump with my water injection full time. on c16 I'd like to see what the car dynoes at 25ish psi, but I have to get my fuel pump issue sorted first. Supposedly the apexi bnr32/33 that I run has an internal diverter valve that won't allow pressures that high. Honestly, the car is fast enough for me right on the wg spring that I don't feel the need to mess with c16 right
Rich, its never fast enough........

I thought the brn will "only" go to 75 psi, which would mean your pump should be around 63-65 psi at 25 psi of boost, no?

According to Max Cooper's site, there's an approx pressure drop through the system of 15 psi. So my current base pressure of 40 psi + the 15 psi pressure drop = 55, leaving me with only 20 psi for boost pressure. I'd really rather not push the envelope with this, so I've got some further research to do. The car pulled very hard on a recent 19 psi 4th gear redline pull with no fuel px issues whatsoever......

Thanks bud. It still blows me away just how strong the powerband on this setup is at moderate boost levels......

Yes, but pushing the envelope is what it's all about! Go hard or go home Goodfella.....we don't need anymore conservative Rx7 owners.

Can't wait!!! We all need some confirmation as to how fast your car really is . What boost levels are you planning on dyno'ing it for?

(3) Speeding ticket about 10 minutes after helping get Carl's/mp5's FD running again...140 bucks down the drain, what happened to karma? Officer informs me 80 in a 55 will get me $280 and mandatory NC court appearance, 'does me a favor' by making it 70 in a 55. Doesn't he know the FD can't cruise at 55? It isn't possible

(4) Suspension seems to be bottoming out a bit, my 6 year old Tanabe's might have finally died. Autopsy report pending.

(5) This one hurts the worst.....after driving about 1800 miles, a rock kicked up off the highway took a chunk of paint off my roof about 20 minutes from the end of the trip!

(6) Edit: last thing, loud buzzing coming from the fuel tank. I think the baffles in the tank broke loose on me....this showed up at the end of the trip.

If that's all that happened to a 15 year old, 500hp sports car, being driven like it's stolen...you are doing just fine

oh, sucks about the ticket and rock though...

I don't see that much of a pressure drop with aftermarket lines. I thought your lines were upgraded?

My system is AN-08 supply from the Bosch '044 pump, with an equal length split of AN-06 into the rails and then into the FPR, then AN-08 return line.

I about 5psi drop, measured at supply and tank return. I have seen 70 psi logged from the FPR.

Thanks for sharing the info Tony. I'm still running stock lines, and would love to know what pressure drop I'm seeing. I'd *really* like to verify what the max working pressure of this Apex's fuel pump is.....

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing, the car performed pretty well and mechanically very reliable. But, I was only revving to 7k rpm due to some high rpm richness, and was running 12 psi off the wg spring. The car was still plenty fast enough, but not 'holy ****' fast like it had been at 15 psi in the winter.....
