Snap ring rotors??

Any of you high HP guy's doing this mod to your rotors? Is it necessary for a long life-has anyone had a failure where the gear has worked out of your rotor?.

i think its only needed when roadracing... for dragracing its not as important because your only loading the parts for a short amount of time..... the factory parts ary very strong!
