Question Single/Vac line install question

Guys Im a little confused on something.

I recently installed my XS T04S kit. Upon doing that I took out the solinoids and Vac lines.

My question is...Under the thermostat housing there is a brass airline that goes up behind the thermostat housing (then I loose it).

It used to go to the inlet elbow on the stock turbos pipe. What is it used for? Do need it?
thanks
Anthony

i think what your refering to is a coolant line that used to be for the stock turbos... and if so only if your turbo is watercooled do you need it.
