Running a stock ecu will depend on other factors such as injectors size, rails, etc. I strongly recommend not to run on a stock ecu and at least if you do, run some sort of fuel piggy back controller or something.

waste of time. waste of money. waste of an engine. Funny how someone would pay the thousands of dollars to put the single turbo on and not upgrade the ecu???
God bless the ignorant.....I'll pray for you....sheesh.

Get a Power FC used to around 600-700 and

save a motor. Plus a turbo if she blows might thake the turbo wheel...
If not stay stock and maybe blow both turbo as one with a good fuel pump and plugs.

But if you do let me knwo when you want to sell the roller with the blown motor...cause she will blow..

Boost is boost as long as you dont go over what stock set up is i see no difference except its less complicated. But at the least go with a upgraded fuel pump. And then change every thing later. Is that what you meant?

Sorry buddy "boost is boost" is most certainly NOT true. See that guy in your avatar.....Maybe you should read some more of his and others like his writings. And that still isn't my big issue with what he wants to do. It's just so unbelievable to me that some people are really this stupid. Money to go "mad-fast-y0" and money to make 9,438.2671rwhp and money to **** up 3,4 and 5 times but no money and no brain cells to do things right. amazing..

Take it easy genius, the guy asked a question to anyone run a single with a stock ecu. He didn't ask how much boost to run on stock ecu.

exactly, the only reason I asked this question is because my stock turbo`s are shot and I have a single turbo set up from my old 2nd gen and wanted to get the car running with what I have instead of spending thousands of dollars on ecu`s and injectors and **** I can’t afford right now- no need for attitude and saying people are ignorant maybe you are the ignorant person who is afraid to think out side the box.

the car is still fun.....the turbo and manifold bolts up directly to the fd engine.

I did it years ago before the PFC was available. I used a stock computer with the Pettit chip upgrade. For additional fuel I used the HKS AIC (add inject controller) for supplying 2 add injectors in a greddy elbow. At the time it was a really nice setup.

We will be able to to run single turbo on the stock ECU shortly.
Well at least the 16bit ecu - I have little to no interest in development for the stock 8bit ecu.

Currently, I'm able to get a good number of 'features' working on the stock 16bit ecu.
No emissions-control, no limp mode. so sure - with those two speed bumps out of the way - yes you *CAN* successfully run a single turbo setup. I'm not ready to make a huge leap and give some tuned ecu's away just yet but the time is coming.
