Hi guys
Im planning to built an engine for my FD with R-85 , upgrade fuel system , etc ....especcialy for drag racing . I deciede also to run with the stock flywheel . Is the act extreme 6 puck kit the better combination for my project or not ?
Is the pressure plate of this kit 2600lbs ?

I am installing a 60-1 on my FD also and I have a 6-puck from Racing Beat with the stock flywheel. I stayed with the stock FW because it will be better for hard launching at the strip but dont know if clutch will hold will be enough.
Only time will tell.

What other mods have you done to prepare you for drag racing (differential, driveshaft, gears, axles, diff bushings etc.....)???

 

I start with the r-85 kit ( with larger w/g and ss manifold ) from my conpatriota Demetrios . I have order also from him fuel system with 861 / 1680 inj / aeromotive fpr , gauge , lines , Tial 50mm bov , 3 bar map sensor , and i tune the PFC for 20 psi with datalogit .
Im thinking also to run with a Sard fuel pump 280lt/h in stock tank and one Bosch 0.44 external 200lt/h with a small tank external ( i dont khow how you call this ) for fuel supply every time .
Propably Demetrios cames in Athens this summer for the final tuning .

I would like to upgrade also the intake manifold ( big hols in throttle body etc...you know )
I keep the stock flywheel with a six puck extreme from act or from clucthmasters.
kaaz ,with 4.30 ring and pinion , but i would like to make an experiment with 4.70 and longer 1 gear only . I see . I dont know if this work well !!!
and at least m/t e/t street with stock rims .....
a 10 sec car is my dream .......
