Question Single Turbo And Quiet Exhaust?

I had the same problem too!!!
single trubo is too loud for street drive!
but either the racing beat or m2 will make quieter.
you need to put another muffler into mid pipe to quiet down and not loss too much hp.

I have the XS T04S kit with a MP and the new Racing Beat Exhaust dual tip.

I had the open WG for a while but got sick of it being so loud. I had some boost control issues too with the open wastegate. It always creeped.

I recently plumbed the WG back to the DP and I absolutely love it. No more boost problems and Its just awesome. I highly recommend you do it.

I had XS t04s kit, open wg and street port.
I think you can keep your hks ti and add a free flow muffle with out lossing too much hp.

I've got an RX6 single, SR muffled mid-pipe, and the old Racing Beat cat-back. I haven't run it with any other exhaust, so I don't know how much power I am losing, but I am sure it would make more with a more open exhaust. It is reasonably quiet, but I still want to make it quieter, so I get a Borla XR-1 Race muffler to weld into a midpipe when I get around to it. The fatigue, hearing loss, and negative attention from a loud exhaust are not things that I want, so a little drop in power is well worth it to me for some (relative) peace and quiet. But maybe I'm just getting old.

I THINK YOU CAN HAVE MORE FUN ON THE STREETS WITH A QUIET EXHAUST, BECAUSE YOU WILL NOT GET UNWANTED ATTENTION. AND I WILL MAKE YOUR CAR FUNNER TO DRIVE WITHOUT TO WORRIES

I had a custom exhaust before really loud. After I put on the Titanium exhaust from RE, its nice and quiet and still has all my performance. In Japan they are really picky about noise, so thats why I got it for free, from the sponsor. ALSO some inside info AMA-SAN the owner of RE-Amemiya made those exhausts that why, because he doesnt like loud exhausts, they are more expensive then most, because you get good performance and not that loud. I would like to say also this is the exhaust they use on all their race cars.

If your **** is too loud add a borla XR-1 in place of the mid-pipe.
It will quiet down the exhuast without changing the sound too much, and offers virtually no airflow restriction. Plus, it will look like a cat if you ever get pulled over.

It will look like a cat until they take a wiff of your tail...

Maxcooper's RX-7 is one of the quietest singles I have heard. The Racing beat exhaust is sutle as well.

My single is just on the acceptable level of sound. I have the Greddy SP with a Dynomax muffler replacing the cat. Works well and sounds great. There was NO LOSS using the Dynomax muffler.

I love that RE exhaust, but $1065! thats too much. I just want something for the streets. Im going to use my hks ti for the tracks and switch for the streets. Right now im thinking about getting the racing beat and a borla for a mild pipe, and see what happens

canman, when/if your car shoots flames, do they hit the ground and spread out or what? It must look really different with the tip pointed like that.
And canman, how much is/can you get the SS version for

Well actually I havent had anyone behind me to see the flames, but I have seen them when I go threw the tunnels over here at night so I know I still shoot some good flames, other then that I dont know. As for the SS exhaust its $920 shipped.
