Just checking in

Just checking in to say hello! Glad to see the doc is up on google docs. Only flaw I saw there is google docs sort of messed up some of the colors in the PDF so you end up with grays where you should have brighter colors. Not a huge deal really, but it can make a few of the graphs harder to understand when I'm talking about something being magenta and all you see is light gray, medium gray, etc.

I realized the email I had associated with this forum account was ANCIENT, so I wasn't getting any PM notifications and since I rarely actually log in, I didn't see the little thing at the top right either saying I had a message.

I updated my email in the rx7club system and enabled email notification of PMs, so if you want the pdf all you should need to do is PM me and it will email a good email that I actually check

I always encourage you to compare my old doc to newer work by other folks on here. A lot has changed over the years and while I do think most of my advice is still pretty good I am sure there are some gaps too. The more you read the better. Mistakes cost time and money so it's better to read more and think first - then go wrenching!

I still have my RX-7 and I am actually thinking about turning it into my daily driver rather than a garage queen. When I'm replacing tires that have almost full tread but are cracking from AGE - that's a wake up call hahaha. Need to drive it more!

Good stuff in here. Just finished rebuilding a 94 for a friend and now tuning his new single setup with a PowerFC and Datalogit. Hopefully it's not much harder than all the Nissan tuning I'm used to

I have put together a supplementary document explaining some of the small installation and tuning differences when using the PFC on an FC. I also have a handy appendix with pinouts and configuration procedures for your TPS.

Because link is broken, can you send me via email?
