Single turbo help

My friend is about to blow up his 93 FD. We have put a single turbo(62-1) on it with 850's and 1600's, a power fc, full exhaust, a walbro and all the other goodies. The problem we are having with it is that it runs lean at idle, we have not tuned it yet but we are a bit leary doing it ourselves. if any one has any pointers we would greatly appreciate it.

So you and your friend have no experience tuning? It's probably not the best idea for you to attempt it yourself, especially if you have no prior experience. Contact or find someone locally who is familiar with how to tune rotary's and you all should be set.

Lean or not. I doubt you are going to blow it up at idle.

I would take it to sombody who knows what they were doing if I were you.
