Single turbo diagram discussion

Ok i found this diagram from another thread. I've actually seen several pop up in my searches. Everything on the diagram makes sense to me. I'm just not sure if all of it is nessary or even exactly what it does. Here is the diagram.

Now my questions are:
1. The yellow line In the diagram refers to fuel injector atomization, but On this site (***) it refers to that line as the injector bleed nipple and to cap it off. ***http://www.rotaryresurrection.com/3r...ov_nonseq.html

What does that line really do and how usefull is it??? What side effects if any are caused by not running it? If it's a "bleed" nipple it doesnt seem like u would want positive pressure going into it... if its for fuel atomization it doesnt seem u would want it capped off... so ???

2. I've heard many people not running the fuel pressure regulator solinoid. Apparently it somehow is supposed to help with hot starts in certain situations by adjusting the fuel pressure when its hooked up? The rotary resurrection site doesnt hook that line up either.. Anyone remove it with any issues or prefer to keep it for any reasons?

3. Final question, the dark navy blue line.. that goes to the purge control and chacoal canister. what is that for? What happens if that's removed?
I've heard of people removing the chacoal canister and lines. I was under the impression it's to suppress fuel smell or something i dunno? lol
What kind of source is that navy vac line connected to at the UIM? I know some are vacuum/boost sources while a couple are a different kind of source that never sees + pressure. Is this correct? What type line is that?

Im just trying to get a better understanding. While it is nice to have "here just do this and it will work" directions. I personally like to have an understanding of what im doing and the effects it has on the car/engine. That way if i need to trouble shoot things i dont look and say hmm ok well i dunno what any of this does so im lost here.. I'ts possible i'll come up with more questions but this is a good start, thank you to anyone willing to contribute. ~Brent

(1) It does affect the idle speed because it allows air to flow into the primary intakes near the injectors. It is suppose to help to atomize the fuel at idle. If you cap it, idle speed will drop a little since the engine is getting less air. I never noticed any affect except idle speed.

(2) The FPR solenoid is definitely a totally useless POS as is Mazda's explanation for it.

(3) It does the same for all cars. Collects gas tank vapors and lets the engine burn the fumes off instead of being released into the air. It can be removed if you know what you are doing.

There are many was to hook up the needed hoses for going single.
Take your exmple's having a blow by hose off the top of the oil filler cap going to a catch can. That is pathetic. There are already two nipples below the cap. You can use either one or both and run it/them to a catch can. No need to modify or buy a special cap.

Many have a smoother boost control by taking the high pressure source for the WG solenoid from after the IC instead from the turbo outlet.

alright thanks for the input. i guess i'll just pick a way and see how everything runs. Maybe i'll go with the simplest first and if i have issues go from there.

I would leave the yellow line (atomization line) connected. Initially I ran without it and had significant hesitation problems on tip-in and gentle acceleration. I could add fuel to help but it wasn't as crisp. As soon as I reconnected the line my hesitation got a lot better. Of course, YMMV.

alright thanks for the experience. does that line need to go to the turbo boost pipe or can it go to any filtered air source?
