single HKS GT3037S on FD??

Could you use just one, with say the 56T / 1.01 A/R housing, and get good spool/response, and push 400-450 pretty easily?

The key is response.. The 1.12 A/R seems it may be too big, and the .83 might work, but choke down around 350-375 HP or so.

My goal is 350 rwhp with great spool characteristics - hence maybe a small(er)single..

Any input on your choices for sizing a single 3037S? Or is it just simply too small to run as a single on an FD?

Why not the GT35/40? There is already a kit for it too.

still havent sold it so....

bump

Just wondering if the frame is too small, or with the huge A/R housing if I could get around 400 rwhp with really fast spooling...

Opinions anyone?

I would imagine 0.83 would be too small of an A/R for the turbine housing, especially considering that you're running a T3 based turbo.

My GT35/40 1.06 turbine housing spools pretty damn quick for a single. I would suggest at least > 1.00 for the turbine housing.

If you tune it right, you should be able to hit 350rwhp with no sweat.

Do you have the exhaust manifold already?
If you need to piece things together, you may want to consider selling your 3037 and buying a 3540 kit from A-spec. I say it not to promote A-spec, but they have a very nice turbo kit (high quality manifold and downpipe).
