should i be worried?

i picked up a 89-91 turbo/exhaust manifold today... i get it home, go to take pictures, and notice what i somehow missed before... the blades on the exhaust impeller are kind of messed up, like a apex seal might have went thru it... the turbo spins freely, and there is hardly any or possibly no end play, everything else looks good... heres a pic... let me know what you think... btw the stuff on the blade is just a cobweb with grass stuck in it

Hi,
My opinion would be to have the turbine replaced, as these knocks could have fractured the blades.

if the cracks don't go all the way thru, is it ok? i don't know if those sort of cracks are normal on a stock turbo... they are only internal, none make it outside... i know the impeller would need replacing, thats a given... which if i did keep this turbo, where would i find a new impeller for it? and what trim would i use? my 88 TII had a 89-91 turbo like this, and it was built with a larger trim exhaust side impeller, pushed 17 psi in 4th gear, without a boost controler... but i don't know what trim it was...
