Question Should I add nitrous now? Wet or Dry?

Before everyone jumps in on the nitrous is bad, or dry is bad, or wet is bad... please read about my specific situation.

I am running an APEXi single, larger street ported RE Wing low compression engine, Haltech E6K, 550cc primaries, 1200 cc secondaries, Cosmo pump, Stock FPR and fuel pressure.

I am making 417 RWHP at 15 psi and am guessing around 450 RWHP at 17 psi on 89 octane.

I drag race here in Korea and need a couple of tenths to catch these pesky 600-800 hp Skylines.

I don't want to swap the turbo... I know that its almost maxed out. I would prefer not to upgrade the fuel system any more. I also don't want to wait till Matt makes it back to Korea to retune the E6K.

I have a ZEX kit available. Since I have some room to play with in the fuel pressure department, I thought that a nice 55 hp dry shot (increased fuel pressure from the ZEX unit) would be just what the doctor ordered. I will probably keep the ignition unchanged... it is tuned for 89 octane fuel and I will run unleaded race fuel with the nitrous. Where should I tap into the intake?
at the elbow?

What do you guys think? Should I still go with a wet system? Should I upgrade my fuel system? Or should I just suck it up and keep seeing R32, R33, R34 tail lights?

Thanks,

I don't know much but from what I've been reading as long as it is set up right then either a dry or wet system works. I'm rather interested in a dry NOS system. Something like this Zex install on Rob's site. Check out a NOS install on a FD here:

Hope that helps some.

wet. make sure to use ngk part # bur9eq it is the part # for the trailing. Put this plug in the leading spot as well as the trailing. It is colder plug NOS needs a colder plug.

I already run 9's both leading and trailing. I use 10.5 when at the track.
