Seriously Stressed = Single Turbo ECU Question

aiite guys im seriously stressed out here....back in december i bought my car its a 96 fd with a single turbo conversion....runnin the FC turbo...my turbos givin out so i decided to get a T04E to replace it...im still on the FC turbo and the guy i bought it from did the single turbo conversion..now hes been runnin the car on the stock ecu ever since and ive been runnin the car on the stock ecu too...now my question is how dangerous is that? should i go with the conversion or get the twins back on? cuz frankly i dont have money for a power FC.....need urgent reply thanks a mil...

its pretty dangerous in that the stock FD ECU isn't designed for thatirflow of the FC turbo........


BUT

The FC turbo won't make near the power the twins will, so just from that standpoint it should be "OK" but IMHO, I wouldn't touch it until it had a standalone.

wait, what? you had a 2nd gen turbo on your FD? Does that even fit with the FD LIM? post pics. how much boost was it running? You realize those things run 6psi without a boost controller and make about 170 to the wheels. In fact a bone stock FC runs on 87 octane with no problems.

I can't see it running lean really, but who knows.
