I am tryin to install the RX7.com (Rotary Performance) fuel rail kit with 1600's and ran into a problem. Do you have to remove the stock injector grommets for them to fit and seal properly or do you keep them in there? It seems that the injectors won't seal properly without the grommets. I did remove the diffusers already. Any help would greatly be appreciaated.

P.S. I did a search for this and could not find the answer.

 

I used a sliver of 5/8" hose for the seal.
