S400 Turbo, Any need for a oil feed flange or will a Fitting be fine ?

S400 Turbo, Any need for a oil feed flange or will a Fitting be fine ?
Do I need one of those fancy schmancy flanges or can I just toss a 1/4 NPT fitting in there and call it a day ?
