???s for you gurus.....

What size and type turbo would you guys recommend for what im trying to accomplish. Hp #s at least high 4s or low 5s. The setup i'll be going with will be either a S5 block w/FD UIM or a full FD setup. Whichever block i go with will either have a large street port or street ported primarys and bridged secondarys. Im also looking at getting the Microtech system. I pretty much have everything covered in terms of knowing whats needed to support the figures im looking ie....fpr, fp, fmic...etc.. Im also wanting one that will spool relatively quick and maintain its full set level. Thanks in advance for your input.

Damian.

I am working concurrently with RPM, and Precision Turbo on just what you describe. We have three guys ready to buy, we are pooling our buying power while we decide which turbo to use. If you are ready to buy, drop me a PM and I will let you know what we are thinking.
That aside a T66 1.00q trim is a good bet. A gt3540 will get you to low-mid 400s(IMHO), and a "custom" gt3540 may get you where you want. A Precision PT67H is another good bet(TO4R). Many Turbos could get you there it is the combo that makes it happen. Most off the shelf manifolds will hinder your 500rwhp goal. Read the manifold thread below. Later, Carl

Carl's suggestion of the T-66/q-trim 1.0 is what I would reccomend also.
