This is ASE_Joe:
Those are VERY impressive numbers, and you setup is VERY close to what i will be running. FYI: A Mustang Dyno reads about 18% lower than the industry standard DynoJet
CONGRATS!

.
I had to use the powersteering pully which is a different diameter so the rpms are 550 higher than it reads on the chart
So then by my rough calculation you actually made around 510RWHP on that run showing 460. The turbo spool looks unusually slow, is that because the TO4S is that much bigger or is something wrong with your boost control?

Regards,

Eric

P.S. We now have a Dyno Chart section in the Photo Gallery, please post your graphs there so all of this information does not get lost in the archives.

It is spooling pretty slow and gradual, due to the fact that the AVC-R wasn't really controlling the boost, it was really only being controlled by the wastegate, and the wastegate spring rate was too high. There is a 14 lb. spring in there, while a 10 lb spring is needed.

woulden't putting a 10# spring in there make the situation worse?

What about the dump tube for the wastegate? Vented or piped back in?

Relvinnian is right about mustangs reading low -- actually, they claim dynojet reads artificially high. At any rate, we tune our cars on a mustang dyno, too. It is nice the get adjusted to the 'mustang number', and then goto a dyno shootout on the higher reading dynojet just for a morale boost! Nonetheless, cruser will have to 'convert to dynojet' just as one converts to sea level. Nice big juicy numbers! Congratulations!

Mustang Dyno tuners are humble tuners! Built in margin of error, and easily repeatable bragging rights!

My thoughts exactly with the mustang. That way you will never have to eat your own words later down the road. Thanks for the compliments everyone.
