recommend me a new single turbo set up

I have a t78 with a bridge-port. I have had it for a while and the tune on it is getting on my last nerve. I m thinking about changing the set up. anybody wants to buy a t78 turbo let me know. I want more power.....lots of it but not ernie t power. I don't like to break stuff. something ball baring. maybe a garrett. thanks. I have been driving my rx7 around now that I smoked the clutch in the zo06. Man I love my Fd. I just need to spend some money on her. it has been a while. thanks. kevin

Best bang for the buck Kev is gonna be a Borg Warner. Get the 71mm. It will spool fast for ya and be a great all around turbo for road racing or ......even a little drag racing
Seriously you can get that turbo brand new for less then $1000. Manifold will cost about $800 and your done.

correct me if im wrong, but at the power ur making now+ want more there is more chances ur gonna break something.... and isnt that territory youre looking for when the axles start to go? (maybe wrong)

ps whats the limit of the drivetrain? axles, diff, etc?

Kevin wants a turbo setup a bit more suitable for say 2010 lol. The T78 is 20yr old technology. There are far better and cheaper turbo setups that will make more power with a better power band. Your going to break drivetrain parts when drag racing not road racing which is what Kevin does.
