I have a used r85 and i just noticed when i looked down the hole on the compressor side the part that connects to the intercooler, i see bolts extending into the air path. They extend like 1/4" - 1/2" into the air passage. These bolts hold the compressor part to the center section. Do your have this also, or was the wrong screws used.Either way there screw holes extend into it. I would think this would hurt my performance. I was thinking of grinding the screw down or finding smaller length screws. Is this normal?

i can't speak for the R85 specifically but unfortunately a lot of turbos come like this i normally grind them down to where they are flush on the inside.
