quick question of turbine housing

I have a 1,15 A/R p-trim housing at the moment in my TO4B. If I go smaller lets say 0.96 doesn´t the inducer diameter stay the same? (I´m about to get flamed...?)

A P-trim wheel for your turbo is the same P trim wheel for any A/R that is an option for that model of turbo... So I think you can swap just the turbine housing fairly easily.

Make sure if you have divided now, you buy a divided housing or if you have undivided now, you buy an undivided housing. (Unless you are replacing your exhaust manifold too)

Thanks

So the diameter pointed in the pic is same in all p-trim housings.?

I got HKS cast manifold so I´m going 0.96 undivided.

Not to jack your thread, but what is that diameter? Or in other words what is the diameter for a P-trim wheel ? I just picked up a divided housing and was wondering if it was actually for a p-trim wheel ....cheers

Your gonna want a .96 tang, undivided with a V-band (you'll need a clamp and an additional fitting for your down pipe as well, unless your already running a V-band)

part# 20296-3 the "OCUND, 4B" means On-Center, Undivided, 4 bolt flange for the disscharge. You DONT want this one.

part# 20296-4 the "TUND, SF" means Tang, Undivided, and I forgot whats its called specifically, but its a press type fit were your DP joins the turbine. This is a basic turbine housing that requires you to weld a flange on there of some type be it V-band, or a bolt flange because the fitting thats on there SUCKS.

part# 20693-4 the "TUND, VB" is tang, undivided, v-band disscharge This is the one you want if you'll be running a v-band.

A P-Trim turbines measurements are: Exducer or minor dia. 2.544" and inducer or major dia. 2.922" Keep in mind there will be a clearance between the turbine and turbine housing.
