questions about single turbo conversion

Hi guys, i'm in the process of deciding which setup i want to run for the next few years. So i'll get right to the point, i've read the FAQ. My car has a blown engine and stock turbos need a rebuild. My car was tuned by steve kan at 14psi on stock fuel system, stock intercooler and rad. I'm looking to change for a single turbo kit. I've done some research, i just want to have some advices by the single turbo pros.

I hope i've done my homeworks properly,

What I already have on the car :
- Downpipe
- Midpipe
- Catback
- Power FC
- Profec-B boost controller
- A/F ratio and Boost Gauge
- ACT S/S Clutch
- Freshly rebuild tranny
- HKS SSQV Bov
- Pettit aluminium AST

Now, what i need :
- Single turbo kit of course (thinking of GT35R for 2700$ on rx7store.net)
- Extreme fuel system (rx7store)
- Denso fuel pump
- New engine (stock rebuild)
- Greddy 2-row FMIC
- Fluidyne Rad
- Greddy elbow
- Oil Catch Can
- Air filter for turbo
- Steve Kan tune

I would like some advices on the turbo choice, because i don't want to spend more than 3000 $ for the turbo kit. I want something that will give me 380-400rwhp. The car is NOT daily driven, it's my week-end car. I won't race it, won't beat it. Usually, i make 3500 miles per year and i go to rx7 enthusiasts meeting and car shows. So don't want to run 18 psi .. I want it to be reliable too. I don't want a big laggy turbo ..

I think that's all i can think of for now... if i need anything else, just let me know

Thanks in advance,

Max

Since your engine is blown and going to be rebuilt, I'd suggest streetporting it. You will be able to achieve higher power levels easier and spool your chosen turbo sooner as well.
