pt67 bb or gt35r , need some info....
im looking into a new turbo setup. i have a brand new stock ported motor coming in, and i want to get 400whp by 14-15psi. i am either thinking a pt67 dbb .81 a/r, or a gt35r t4 .84 a/r. i know there is a good size difference between the 2 turbos but i am trying to compare responce vs. output between them. i want fast spool but i would like to reach my goal also. anyone here have a t66 or t67 bb? i would like to see the boost responce with the bb option. i had an rx6 turbo and i was used to seeing 12psi by 3k rpms. i would like to hit that boost by 3.5k rpms if possible. any imput appreciated.

I would say the 35RS(500R) from A-Spec as well. That will let you reach your goals without a doubt. Well worth the money spent considering how good their customer service is and that they offer a lifetime warranty on the manifold and DP. Just my .02 though.

I would run the GT35R. Nice turbo and we use them on several rotary setups with good luck, and they spool up quite quick for their size (61mm). We have some customers that swear by them.

I was in A-spec's shop a couple days ago. Sean is very busy working on getting kits out the door. He had a delay getting Tial wastegates, but I think hes got them now and is busy making manifolds for the kits. Send him a PM he WILL get back to you. I think its about a 4 weeks wait on the kits.

I can't seem to locate that dyno sheet and I swear I remember seeing it. Does anybody else remember that? or am I cracking up? If it was posted and someone saved it, would you please put it up here?

I don't know much about the 35r but the pt67 is hot. I made 430 @16psi . I do not have the ball bearing one though. I have the .81 turbine housing. It makes 15 psi at about 4100 rpm. I ordered the .73 housing to get it spooled up faster. It's a nice turbo either way.

Yeah, its getting closer. Intake manifold is all done, motor's in the car, but the thumper hot side on the turbo won't fit w/ my intake mani so I'm just going to get it running n/a until I figure out the turbo situation..
