Is there much of a difference between low boost and high boost. Will the turbo boost faster on high boost? Thanks!

 

R-Magic - The Sharpness on the boost control will determine on how fast the turbo spools.

 

You set both High and Low boost so the difference is what you make it.

 

Is there a difference on how the power comes on when i have it on low boost at 14lbs compared to 14lbs on high boost?

 

you could set your low boost to 12 lbs abd high boost to 10 lbs if you wanted to. It's just where you set you solenoid to! your contrast will determine your lag and if you get any spike.

 

They are just presets. While we're on the Profec B, I was wondering how good it was. I mean I don't think i need all the bells and whistles from a boost controller. Just need a high and low boost setting really. So how well does it do its job?

 

don't know personally but from a test a few months back in either Turbo or Sport Compact Car they did a test and the profec B was rated the best. Don't remember if it was best overall or for the money.
