precision turbo
Has anyone used the Precision 67gt-q? I hear that this turbo is comparable to the t-66 but spools faster. I also heard that Precision's new q-trim spools just as fast as a p-trim.
Thanks in advance for all responses.

The 67gtq is essentially a TO4R. There is a slightly different geometry on the vanes, but wheel size/trim they are the same. A friend of mine actually created this turbo with Precision for the Supra(for road racing). He is convinced it will work well on the rotary. I have a .81 Q trim T66 that I will put on my 97 Supra in a month or so. When I get a little money set aside, I will put a pt67 on the RX7, if I do not like it, I will put the 67 on the Supra where I know it works, and replace my TO4S with the T66.
On the supra, the spool is as fast as an ITS T64BB, and the torque is flat from 4000rpm to redline. I think it is worth trying. I would do either a .81, or a .96 ar Q trim. Possibly a .81 P trim(400.00 less).
