Possible? Partial NA to t2 FC conversion?

Hey all, I've found an intriguing Craigslist ad with the turbo and intercooler from the t2. Mine is NA, but I was thinking of eventually going turbo. Is it easily done to mount the intercooler in the same spot, swap hoods, and find a turbo header to fit the t2 turbo? What extra would I need do?

I couldn't search threads very well due to the sheer amount of posts with the same keywords and no correlation.

The price is good-- 100 for the turbo and intercooler--but what is the viability?

Thanks, Zack

won't work.Waste of time to try. It'd be like putting a piston on top of the engine. Why is it there?.it can't hook up to anything.
You can get the hood though. They look cool anyways.

If you want to go turbo you're better off swapping in an entire engine and drivetrain, or getting a different car. I'm personally taking the more expensive route.

Haha...I was just rather uninformed. Thanks for the responses. I ran into a site (Aaroncake's build) that has it all outlined...and it's almost all over my head. I may look into it WAY down the road...not now.
Thanks
