The oldest single turbo setup ever?

Greddy manual boost controller (insert into the cig lighter) later turned into a electronic
silver fcon
greddy injector driver with 4 top feed injectors

I was told this is what was used in Japan when 1600 injectors weren't available?

auxiliary injector controllers were definitely a 90s thing. I love how the primitive-looking Fcon says "employing the state-of-the-art technology" right on the front

a friend of mine ran an AIC setup on his T2 back in the 90's. it was a 60-1 on an HKS manifold, stock reman S4 13B-T, RB exhaust, 2x680 additional injectors big IC

15psi was enough to run mid 12's, and it stayed together for 30,000miles on pump gas!

the car got an FD engine and E6A in 1997

The car is a 1995 with 51k if you can believe that. I drove it form vancouver to calgary without breaks on 91 and didn't blow it up but I wasn't driving it hard. Going to switch to a power FC and delete the aux injectors and switch to bigger secondary.

That's the silver version, not too far from the Gold which is not used. But yea the silver fcon is the oldest emanage I think.

Sure is, it's just like a gold version except it has weaker settings like 24x16 fuel map vs 32x 24 on the goldversion. The Gold fcon is considered to be a piggyback that works like a standalone

Yes it is cause of the fender roll job I think. Also, the side skirts are shaved and permanently attached to the body ???

I don't see a problem with it really. It gets the job done.

Used an F-Con and additional injector controller in the late 90's on my first FD. It was an automatic with the boost turned up on stock twins.

With the F-Con, the GCC for the F-Con, Turbo Timer (bling bling), Boost Controller, Additional Injector Controller... there were boxes and blinky lights everywhere!

Yea I drove it from Vancouver to Calgary with type 11 plugs

I think all I need to do to make it safe is put an intake on the turbo and retune for local octane although my tuner wants me to get rid of the fcon + aux injectors and put 1600 secondary with something simple like a power fc.

reminds me of this car i brought in many years ago. this thing had 8 injectors also. it was running a RE amemiya tuned factory ecu to control the stock 4 injectors and ran a rebic injector controler to run the other 4. the car had a street port 13b and a t78 greddy turbo. put down 440rwhp at 18lbs. the old school tuning works... its just old. this car ran great until.....

Sorry cant find the Pre accident photos...

wall at 90mph!!! couple broken ribs, chipped tooth, lots of bruises, and a bananna shaped car later....
