Oil feed and return..

Hi guys, what's the best way to go about doing my feed and return lines, hose size, fittings etc.. borgwarner 366 turbo on 13b. From some research for oil feed il need a 90 1/4 npt to -4an fitting on the turbo and a 14mm 1.5 45 or 90 fitting on the front plate and then run -4an hose, maybe Teflon braided hose.. any help be appreciated. Cheers guys.

Sounds like you have it figured out. fitting angles vary from build to build due to the differences in equipment. there is no one size fits all. stainless braid is advised for the feed and return due to its proximity to the turbo. your angles you will figure out based on your set up and what makes the most sense

On my s364 I'm using a 4an feed from the front iron with a 90 degree fitting on the end to make the turn. 12an drain line (PTFE for both feed and drain) into the factory front cover position. I have drilled out my front cover to allow for better drainage.

I needed a 45 off the drain of the turbo and it has a straight to the front cover.

Hard line is most reliable for return since so much heat in that area. If you use soft line, be sure to inspect regularly (especially where hose passes near the manifold/turbo flange).
