SD Oil cooled turbo - What to do with factory coolant lines

Hey guys, I have a PT6266 non-bb on the way and it's an oil cooled turbo only.

I need some suggestions or input on what to do with the factory supply and return coolant spouts coming off the water pump/thermostat housing.

Found a couple of threads were other members suggested welding the spouts shut.
I don't necessarily want to weld the spouts shut or do anything permanent.

What do you suggest I do, or what have others done in this situation?

Any pics or instruction would also be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Josh

Run a watercooled wastegate like the tial MV-S or MV-R and you can use the coolant in/out to the wastegate.

Thanks for the input guys.

I picked up a 1/8 NPT and 1/4 NPT plugs and taps.
How do you normally go about tapping and plugging the nipples?
Do you completely saw off the nipple back to the block and tap it there?
Or would there be any issue with just tapping the end of the nipple without sawing or removing the nipple?

Thanks again, Josh
