IN Numerous issues with single turbo FD - enter if you dare/care!

To preface my issues, let me start by saying I like to work on my own machines. The problem is I've not really dealt with a custom set up like this. I have never fully operated on a Factory FD, either. just as far as checking the hoses, taking off the IC piping and little stuff. I pretty much understand how everything works, just sorting out the specifics on where to start looking. (And yes I'm trying to search but not really getting results with a lack of knowledge on terminology.)

The car has the following:

97k miles on chassis

5k on reman from Malloy / 5k on rebuilt trans from M2 perf.
Holds a healthy -19.5 vac at warm idle
t04s
fuel pressure regulator
No emissions equipment whatsoever (bought this way).
Downpipe has a small leak and is audible
LC-1 wideband with the associated XD gauge. (currently displays -.-.- only)
Apex`i PowerFC (no commander )
Full generic 3" exhaust (its ehhh)
Koyo Rad
Hatch mounted battery tray
Defi Boost
there is no temp gauge (previous owner said there was never any cooling issues)
I will still add a temp gauge and a new therm later.

It pretty much looks like the most barebones version of a 13b with a single you can get.

Problems:
Speedometer lags behind what is actually happening. IE i am up to 45 mph but this thing is still making its way up to 45 very slowly. Same thing on the decel. Takes a while to come down from the needle's position.

Also gas gauge does not even work, nor does the oil pressure gauge (bounces around a lot abnormally quickly).
The tach works like a charm.

Next problem: When letting off the accel, the car bucks as it decels. (Like letting off towards a stoplight). While holding the shifter firmly in my hand.. it felt like while it was bucking, the trans itself was moving/jumping around.

I'm not quite sure where to start with that.

The LC-1 reads -.-.- but I believe I just need to follow their manual to see what is not set up right. If anyone wants to shed light on this thing, that would be nice.

This car looked really nice at one point in its life but has gone to visual hell.

Whatever it takes, I have 4 jackstands and the rest of the day.

Thanks for anyone who dared!

as far as the decel problem, you've likely got tuning problems. Your power FC is almost useless right now. You need to get it to a tuner (or buy a datalogit and do it yourself) after you fix some of these problems. I would recommend you buy aftermarket oil pressure and coolant temp gauges. If you get a Commander you can read coolant temp... assuming your stock coolant temp sensor is still accurate.

Your LC-1 is probably not hooked up correctly. Are you sure you aren't getting any error codes? Here is a diagram that can put you in the right direction (ignore the two wires going to the datalogit) and a link.

the car is never going to run right with an exhaust leak either, so fix/replace your downpipe.
