No trailing, multispark leading

I was wondering if anyone has pulled the trailing ignition on the dyno while using a multispark leading ignition. I'm looking for results from a around 500 hp car. I have seen people say you lose 5 % of your horsepower but with a multispark you essentially have a trailing firing just not in location. Any thoughts.I

I was under the impression that trailing spark location was semi-important. but I could easily be wrong.

Also, wouldn't that just create more heat on a single plug, thus wearing it out ever faster? And possibly causing more housing warping around the leading spark plug than normal?

I would think dispersing the heat as much as possible would be ideal.
