New project

I'm scrapping the high RPM NA project I had going for my 13B miata, as I picked upa a GT30 turbo on the cheap a few days ago.

Since I don't really need to race clearance, rebalance, lighten, rework eccentric, clearance gears, etc.. anymore... what DO I need to do.

Motor I'm working with is a good S5 TII motor. Almost 100% sure BDC is going to port it for me. I have some S6 gears to use with the crazy FD bearings. Other than that, what else should I do if I'm going to open it up.

Goals are 300whp at CONSERVATIVE tune, with room to grow. Bridgeported motor. If I could turn it up a bit with some race gas at the strip, and make 400whp, thats FINE BY ME. Main goal for the car is open track, hench not making tons of power and heat.

Keep in mind the miata is stripped out, and weighs close to 1700lbs with the 13B installed right now. Will gain a few pounds after the snail, but not many.

Eccentric oiling tricks?

I've got the race regulator and RB baffle plate already, but should I keep them?

My understanding is I do a few minor internal mods, and button it up with new 2mm mazda apex seals. Am I wrong here?
