Nothing of any real news... Q45 came last week, and were preparing the cold side piping for a quick change in Howard's test.
Anyone wanting to help out in this, we're in need of a stock FD TPS to fiddle with to make compatible to the Q45 TB... anyone have one laying about???

I have several, I will send you one. PM your address
I am very curious to see the results, I would think the top end would be worth at least 5% increase in power. I am in the middle of something similiar, but more of a triangle shape going to the TB...

So I read through all the posts in here and will freely admit that I am out of my league when it comes to the knowledge department (always learning!).
I do have a question which runs in line with the discussion in this thread though.. What would be the difference, end performance wise, between using a redesigned UIM like the one in this thread, and a stock intake system which has been ported out (properly) in the case of the Throttle Body, and Extrude Honed for increased flow and front/rear airflow balancing in the case of the UIM/LIM.
I ask because I'm down for a rebuild right now, and going single. I chose to go the route of porting and extrude honing with the basic understanding that "more airflow = better" and not much more.

Hey all... this had been put on the back burner for a while. I actually have found someone willing and eager to dyno test this back to back vs the stock upper. The TPS has been found, modified, and works with the factory harness. Completely plug and play. We're making a small section of piping to replace the Gredy elbow, and will have this sent out for testing soon!
