need louder exhaust

Hello guys,

I am currently running a catless exhuast system with a Trust (oval canister) exhaust for my T78 single setup. Can someone please point me in the right direction of a beefier exhuast w/o the gay ricer tone. Possibly considering the Greedy Ti and the HKS carbon Ti.

Thanks,

Chris

both louder and deeper. I have no problems when my turbos kick because my wastegate is not routed through the exhaust. But from idle to 4k i want a louder exhaust. I have an STi with the tanabe exhaust and that is pretty deep and loud.

as deep as an sti is tough to get. i would suggest the apexi dual n1 , thats a loud and deep exhaust. also check out the hks ti, they have a vid on there site of it on the fd.

you said turbos...as in plural...i'm guessing by this the t78 isn't in yet...why don't you leave the same exhaust on there and see how you like it once the single is in...it will be louder just becuase you switched from twins to single

it was a typo. The turbos are in. Burbank cops dont really give a **** about exhaust noise. I drive my STi in burbank all the time and dont get any ****, i just dont go WOT in front of cops. The Single turbo is already in and the single actually muffled the sound a little more so it's quieter with it in. I'm currently running a resonated mp so i'm going to sell that one and get a regular straight through midpipe on top of the exhaust.

Chris

ps plz post links to sound clips
thx

Keep the parts from your quiet setup so you can reinstall them when you get sick of the loud setup. I'd love to have something quiet (and drone-free) up to 4000 RPM!

My custom 4" is very loud and very deep, probably the deepest 13B exhaust i've heard.

The rest of my set up is a 3" though. My DP and MP wont match the size of a magnaflow. Is this workable? Do you know anyone that can do this work in SoCal or that is willing to sell it?

Most of us don't have to. No emissions or visual inspection in IN.
